White is more forgiving than black finish.

Most of the neck stuff done. I have a pickup on order with Curtis Novak, hopefully it won't take too long.

Shortly after this pics was taken ^^^ I decided to see how a freshly sharpened chisel through the thumb felt.
Funnily enough I hardly felt anything and managed to keep the spurting blood off the raw wood.
Anyway, as you can see, it's healing OK, the flap at the front will eventually drop off.

But I've got some stuff done, the client wanted a rounded top to the headstock this time.

And the pickup arrived from Curtis Novak.

Somehow bleeding on a Gene $immons bass doesn't seem like the worst thing that could happen to it
