OK then, I use catalyzed nitro so in 24 hours I can level and polish this and get to assembly.
Getting close. I’ll leave it under tension overnight and then do a setup in the morning. Couple of cosmetic issues to deal with also.

I can actually hear Paul hitting that high A riff which starts the song "Deuce" when looking at your bass.
So do that slide and launch into that song once you plug it in.

Maybe it's those big honking tuners you've put on there but that headstock reminds me so much of the Ibanez Bean bass headstock.

Client is picking it up this weekend. Hope he likes it. It plays well which is one of the main things.

Just so you all don’t think I’m slacking, I’m doing another LoBue Bass now. This one is to have the leather and studs, which ought to be fun.
The mock up is where I am now. Rough carve done on the neck. Almost ready to glue it together.

Well, how hard can this be. How badly could I totally hose this? I just know this is going to turn out like an intellectually challenged kid's art project.

Within a couple of weeks it's went from 35º in the garage to over 90º today. Maybe I'll go for a ride before doing more sanding...
