Genz Benz Focus FCS-410T

My band just played a gig with Bill Kirchen last night. It was a smallish bar situation and I used the bass player's rig. He had the FCS-410T and a GB head, not sure which model exactly. This was not a high volume gig so it was not cranked real loud, but this thing sounded fantastic, even set completely flat and I normally don't like 410 cabs. I then got to listen to it in action from various locations throughout the club and it just plain rocked! I looked it up online today and it was about 1/2 the price of what I thought it was gonna be. Dang, may have to reconsider my whole rig pile now.

They are pretty good cabs for the money. I have seen several new ones for sale online for a steal. Right now I'm rethinking my rig....but I might just save some money and buy another one of these.

I got the Focus T410 a week ago from the bay of e, replacing the Altec-Lansing 421b 15" I mounted in an old GK Backline cab I've been lugging around for 3 years. Currently driving it with the mighty GK MB200, and waiting delivery on a brand new Shuttle 6.2. Already sold the 15. The Focus 410 is clean, transparent, and has plenty of bottom end. I used to play through an Eden David 4x10, and I realize how much I missed the 4x10 configuration.

Now that Genz-Benz is gone, these speakers are going to be sought after, so I recommend getting them as soon as you can.

Just picked up a new old stock Focus LT 4X10 today. Sounds pretty sweet with my Mesa D800+
