What were we talking about again????
An amp that won't be here for at least a month. What are we to do?

What were we talking about again????

In all seriousness, people who have read my stream of consciousness short stories keep trying to convince me to put them all together.
An amp that won't be here for at least a month. What are we to do?

Obsess over whether or not this amp will FINALLY help me nail 'That Fieldy Tone'?
You obsess, I'll make jokes and do my best to derail a thread about what seems to be "my perfect amp" that I can't afford.
God Bless, Ray

They won't let me be an EA, something about I had to be able to play bass along comes some weird company called.....Jen Ben

you should be able to find them at Billy Hydes in February.
I SURE wish it WASN'T like this, but (as an example) an SVT-VR sells here for nearly $4K
Oh I'd fold like a cheap card table if I had the cash, or some way to get it. (Suffer consequences later)
Damm Jen BenThey won't let me be an EA, something about I had to be able to play bass

Jen Ben? What are their amps like? Will it get me the perfect tone?

Funny guys. You got a good laugh out of me, and I just about blew coffee all over my desk. Now I hope I make it through a week of NAMM without too much grief![]()

YEah BUT AUS dealer Prices often put amps ina HUGELY different $$$ range to what I COULD grab one from the USA for- including postageI SURE wish it WASN'T like this, but (as an example) an SVT-VR sells here for nearly $4K
Some amps-like the Mark BASS range aint too bad in price compared to USA.. but most are a HUGE increase.
I LOVE to support local stores when possible- & just the other day a local store here told me(I'm a regular customer) they'd match ANY price I found online on items they can get.
What store NEED to do. Strings -another e.g. - I can buy 2 sets of 5 string DR's for LESS than the price of ONE set at the local stores here.
So I MIGHT get a Streamliner from an AUS distributor, if I'm in the market for one, otherwise I'd be crazy NOT to buy one from your neck o' the woods.
HOPEFULLY the AUS $$ will not be too different. With the AUS $$ nearly the same as the US$$ one CAN hope!!
EA? Don't they make sports video games? Thought: you could hock all your EA Sports Games (Madden/Woods/etc) and use the proceeds to fund another amp. I hear the Streamliner is pretty awesome. I know a guy who knows a guy who says that it spanks any other amp on the market after extensive gig testing, and it's NOT EVEN out yet.
And telling jokes doesn't help convince Jeff, I'd make a good rep. What do you think?
