Genz Benz Shuttle 3.0 "how to" question

Hi Genz Benz Shuttle 3.0 users:
How can I record my bass going through the GB 3.0 head and into a
stand alone Tascam 8 track digital recorder? Without using a mic I mean.
Thats it. I've never done it before. Please pretend I'm a 5 year old in your explanation because I lack general knowledge/terminology about amps that most take for granted. I'm not even sure if this amp is configured for recording into an old school stand alone unit.
I certainly appreciate any help/information and I wish everyone
a beautiful day and a gorgeous life.

Use the direct output, choose line level, (and post if you want to include the amp's eq).

Look at the owner's manual, it's covered there. If you need a copy, pm me.

I'm going to assume your recorder is something like the DP-008, with connectors along the back.

The back of your Shuttle looks like this:

You need an XLR cable to connect the Direct Output of the Shuttle to either XLR Input A or B. Set line level on both units.
Enjoy!
