Genz Benz Shuttle Max 12.0

I have read most of this thread but not all so I'm sorry if this has already been asked. Does anyone know how the Shuttle Max 12 compares in tone to the GBE1200. I love the way my GBE1200 with a Neox212T sounds. If I could get basically the same tone with this amp, that would be awesome. I know there has been a lot of discussion about the 600w per side vs. some folks wanting to run mono all 1200w into one cab. I am not really concerned with any of that. I would just like a lighter version of the GBE1200 in terms of overall sound (not volume) if that makes any sense.

I feel the best way to evaluate the two is to discuss application. How often do you play out? Also, keep in mind, your GBE1200 already weighs less than your Neox-212T.

Many people, these days, focus on a 1 or 2 pound differential on an amp but, they strap on a 10 pound instrument and carry 20 pounds too much around their belly. I guess what I'm saying is that if you're happy with your tone now, I'd stick with it. Of course, there can always be dynamics of a situation that I'm not privvy to.

Actually with my 6u rack, power conditioner, compressor, and tuner, the overall weight makes this quite heavy. I mostly play at church where I only use a single cab but I like to have the option if playing a bigger setting to add another cab and really crank it. I guess I'm just wondering how close these two amps sound to each other.

I understand. Yes, they sound very similar. Keep in mind that even though they are different platforms, the same sets of ears voiced the amp.
