Checked the LEDs, the middle one (LED5) was bad. Replaced it, and works good as new

Now, When it's Too Late, Anything with that Logo on it is FLYING out the Door. We're an odd lot.....are we Not?

I have been looking for one for my 900. None out there. I ended up ordering this. It's a nice bag but it doesn't say Streamliner on it... http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/gigskinz-mixer-utility-bag
Not easy to sling over the shoulder I have to admit but I used an old power tool plastic case that I had lying around and lined it with foam. Great case for protection and cost nothing. I'm happy.

I found a perfect fit Targus heavy duty bag at Goodwill for $4.. They had 2 so i bought them both for $8

It's not as light or compact as the padded laptop bag it replaced, but it'd done a fine job of protection in a band trailer, while holding the Streamliner, XDS-PLUS wireless, Pitchblack, cables, batteries, etc...

I just got a SL 900 from a local dealer at a really great price. So far I like it, warmer sounding than my Markbass LM III. And not too complicated controls, good for me!! Adding in the SVT emulation on the Behringer V21 DI does change the sound, but less dramatically than it does on the LM III. Time to tinker with the sounds. I have MB 115 and 210 as my cabs, these sound great with the new amp.
We will see this weekend when I play it with our band. took an old Pelican case I have from the year 1, used originally for cameras and cut out the foam to fit it, just right. I think I have had this case for close to 40 years.

I hope your genetically capable of paying a little more on your guitar case. I checked out laptop bags. Cheap plastic on the straps hooks and they where priced $20-$80... Minimal padding... plus when I walk in to a gig I don't want to look like I just came from the office.lol...That's just me.
We're more alike than not...I'm incapable of paying $20-80 for a minimally padded laptop bag with cheap strap hooks too. Out of the 4 laptop bags I have, all given to me by people who didn't need them any more, all have thick padding and sturdy strap hooks. One is holding a small mixer, one holds the Streamliner and two are sitting around for occasional laptop duty.

You can ditch your Behringer, because there is an eq setting that nails the SVT sound on a Streamliner. Off the top of my head (I don't have time to search the thread at the moment) it is something like -
Gain 3 o'clock
Bass 9 o'clock
Mids 9 o'clock
Treble 11 o'clock
Master to taste

Thanks, I'll start with that and see what happens. Which mid frequency setting? I guess trial and error....so far I've tried it with a couple of basses and it sounds really great. I also like having the mute button....

I also just want to say again how great the DI is.
I routinely run the XLR out to an interface and into my DAW (Logic in my case) and it is just a fantastic studio tool, and practice tool to jam along with iTunes.
But the real fun is when you get to see either your live sound guy or studio engineers face light up when they hear the DI through the PA or studio monitors.
