Picked up another Streamliner, 600 this time, rolled the tubes again with the same 7025 in my 900 and both sound great! need another rack mount.........
FKI sold my GK Fusion 800 to offset the cost on the 600, and both LED blue lights work!!

I dropped my Streamliner 600 on it's master volume knob once. It needed repair from a pro. The pro replace the potmeter. And he said he put in some random 12AX7 tubes, claiming there won't be any difference in sound anyway.

I never bothered to find out what he put in it. Here's what I've found:

V1 = Ruby 12AX7A
V2 = GE USA 12AX7A. (looks old?)
V3 = JJ 83S (12AX7)

I have some spare tubes in my junk drawer for my Art MPA studio preamp. So I replaced the Ruby in V1 with a Sovtek 12AX7WA. This one has a slightly lower amplification level (85/100?). Maybe I am crazy, but I think I hear a mild push in the low-mid frequencies that wasn't there before?! I liked the result. It makes me even more interested in the 5751 which seems to be the primairy choice for many here.

I also have a JJ 803S (long plate). Would it make sense to try this in V2 or V3?

It took a week for the JJ 5751 to come in. The wait was worth it. The difference in sound of a 5751 in V1 - compared to a ECC83/12AX7 - is far from subtle.

I prefer a rather gnarly bass sound with a certain balance between some low end grunt, mid punch and a lot of attack. I have a few pedals on my board which enable me to get this sound on any amp. But... after installing the 5751 tube in my Streamliner 600... the tone is right there in my amp!

V1 = JJ 5751
V2 = JJ ECC83S
V3 = GE USA 12AX7A

This frame grid tube has an incredibly rich yet balanced tone. The E83CC works well for clean sounds but also breaks up with a satisfying warmth and plenty of articulation.

AFAIK there is no such variant of the JJ.

The model is ECC83S and the tube comes in regular and gold pin.

My brother has my 600 and like a dumb azz I sold the 900, so I got an GK Legacy 500 its ok but not a GB Streamliner, so I bought another one, this time I went different with tubes - Genelex Gold Lion B759 / ECC83 / 12AX7 in the V1 $$$$expensive dang tube, but I love it !!! V2 and V3 I run the Preferred 7025s from Tube Store, had a few when they were about $25 bucks a pop with shipping don't know what they cost now, but quite a great tube!
Sounds really close to my PF50 and my Ampeg V4B, Brother now asking me to roll the tubes in the V1 same as mine...........I never going to get my 600 back from him!

I dug in this week again and now' Im here, and very happy. I've tried a lot of stuff. This gets me a what I want.
V1 Jan Phillips 5751
V2 + V3 Mullard 12AT7WA

I had all three Mullard 12AT7wa (happily), but I went back in seeking a little more mid-range gain for clarity on tone. I tried a number of different tubes in the V3 spot before putting the 5751 into the V1 spot.

Well @Agehorse knows his stuff, I went back to the OEM tubes and I got the overdrive I been looking for, seems the high end tubes are great - very quite but do not break up like the Ruby or JJs do, I tried what @Wasnex said to try the Genalex ECC83 China made, Lil bit quieter with great overdrive about the same as the V1= 12AX7-CZ (JJ ECC83)
