Well I think you've laid out all of your needs (and quarks) in your post, quite well.Of all the choices you mentioned, I'd probably consider the BA12-3 as the best option. My reasons, first the BA210-3 is a much wider cabinet than the little BA10-2 cabs and I don't think you'd be comfortable with that visual. Frankly I'm as anal as you are about size and fit of my rig. I also think the BA210-3 cab might be louder than the others.
Adding a 3rd BA10-2 is always a good way to go but my thought here is --- you already have 2. You're looking for a 3rd cab to really make a presence known on a big outdoor stage. I think that calls for the BA12-3 cab --- either SLT or STR. Actually the STRAIGHT one might be the better choice.
Adding this larger format cab will give you the bigger tonal footprint you're looking to achieve for these bigger events. I think it will be more impressive output wise than 3 of the BA10-2 cabs.
And I think the look will be close enough for your "how's it look" comfort zone.
AND, it also gives you a cabinet to throw a twist into your gig rig options if you care to just take on cab --- the larger BA12-3 for some events.

Saying that, I’m leaning towards another 10-2 and strapping two 10-2’s together.
A) I really like the tone of the 10-2.
B) It’ll save me a cool $300 and change.
C) I think two 10-2’s strapped together, and placed on an amp stand horizontally, will create nice vertical high end dispersion for monitoring my tall-n-lanky a@@.
What say you fellow Genzler fans?
Being that you love a 1x15 so much...
I'd go with the 12-3 it is pretty bloody loud and goes deeper than the others (all of the BA series - not sure about the 212). The low B is articulate yet still shakes the foundations. I am biased of course as that is what I use - but there is a reason I chose it over the others...

Agree! Had mine fall once when not using a stand. No damage, so NEVER did that again.

No. The only time I ever cracked the headstock was using a bass stand. I never use a stand anymore. I have one I refuse to use it. When I’m out on the road I will use my multi bass boat. But single guitar stands, not gonna break another head stuck again.

Thanks for the input! I’m not really looking for “deep”. I tend to roll off the lowest stuff anyway. Chances are I’d filter out the low stuff the 12-3 can produce.
Maybe with an upright but I don' filter anything with my 5 string...
Helps keep you regular.
I suppose a 115, all else being equal, would move more air than a 112... still, the BA12-3 is AMAZING. Because of the crossover the woofer is allowed to focus on its strengths and because of the array, the dispersion is really great. All in all, the BA12-3 performs well above expectations. @svtb15 may just discover the 112 covers almost everything (or everything) he's accustomed to with the Uber 115.
Has anyone ran their MG800 with more vintage voiced/sealed cabs? I’d love to see/hear you thoughts.

I used to be a "nothin but 15's" guy. But these modern 12's....My 15's have sat in a corner unused.
Is there such thing as a relatively compact PA speaker cabinet with the same concept as the Bass Arrays? Something like the 12-3 STR.

Not exactly (that I know of), but kinda. The ones I am familiar with have the array as pluggable into the top of the cab. It is pretty cool as in many applications/rooms one can set them back and use them as FOH & monitors. But actually, these BA12-3 can work as a small PA. Of course...no horn upper frequency (out of my range anyway), and no hole for a speaker stand.
I've been playing my Magellan 800 since early 2016, added a BA12-3 in early 2017, and today, I just found out about this club. Guess I live under a rock or something. Here I thought I had all this awesomeness all to myself.
here's one way I use my Genzler stuff, a lower volume country gig, with either my upright or electric basses:
when I find I need more ooomph, like in my Tom Petty or Led Zeppelin tribute bands, I've been placing a Berg NV115 below my BA12-3.
But...I'm also considering the new 410 as the most effective way to keep up with a loud drummer and geetar.

I know there's someone out there using a BA12-3 with an MG112T.
Someone should try the MG112T with a pair of BA10-2 on top.
I suppose at this point in time that would require someone with special access - unless there is an unusually well stocked store out there.

What a player, what a rig, what a great show! This was the first time that I had seen Doug with his full band behind him, and it was awesome! His clinic with Jordan Simmons was also a highlight of the 2018 Midwest Rhythm Summit.

FWIW, while he is, indeed, based out of Ohio, Doug Johns plays all of the USA, and I believe beyond.

I briefly tried this last year...it of course had a great sound. But I didn't think it better than three BA12-3s. And of course this was only in the showroom and not out on a gig.
Carvin marketed a small cab with an array and an 8 inch woofer for a while. It was available as a speaker or as a powered speaker... But that incarnation of Carvin is gone
