Genzler Amplification Club

Just in case anybody’s keeping score.....I just purchased a third 10-2. I had asked opinions for a third BA cab to go with my current two 10-2’s for bigger/outdoor gigs and JG suggested adding 12-3.

But, you know, if it ain’t broke. I really dig the tone of the 10-2. Clean and punchy. Two of them is just more betterer. Three?? Welllll....That’s just going to be even that much way more bettererer.

Thanks to @Jeff Genzler and @Mark Gollihur for great products and stellar service!!

EDIT: I ordered the 10-2 from Gollihur about 2-3 hours ago. And it's already shipped!! Seriously great service!!

Jeff, would you know if there is a back order issue on covers for 12-3 (and 12-3 slant if there is a difference). Thanks

@RNG1, We do now have the covers for the BA12-3 SLT and the BA12-3 STR cabs. We have covers for the older BA12-3 with the side strap handle but it does not have the plastic feet on the opposite of handle side. All are available now. Thanks for asking.

I briefly tried this last year...it of course had a great sound. But I didn't think it better than three BA12-3s. And of course this was only in the showroom and not out on a gig.
I doubt there are very many rigs that sound better than three BA12-3, but the MG112T/BA10-2/BA10-2 would be in the neighborhood of the same price as two BA12-3.

As luck would have it I've got two sub gigs this Saturday. I plan on using the whole stack on both gigs. Will prolly have to unplug a cab but what the heck: I just spent the money on the third 10-2 so I'm going to at LEAST bring it to the gig!

I have done some gigs now with the BA12-3 pair and several times I only used one as there was just no need volume-wise for the second, although I prefer the fullness of using two. If I was younger and felt like carrying them I might would stack 3or4 and just use two...just to look bad to the bone, and then again I might would just plug them all in so as to get that fullness. I did try out three 10-2 and liked the extra cab in there. You may not need the 3rd one but it will add to the sound and you may find it pretty neat to go ahead and use it. Once one gets used to the fullness it is difficult to go back to only what we need ha ha.

I used a stack of 2 of the 10-2 arrays and the the 350 head at a rather large venue that held close to 2000 people. I also went through the house with a little PA support and I was amazed at what they put out. I walked out with my wireless during sound checks and the tone was amazing. I could never see myself needing more than the 2 cab stack and it sounded as good as anything I've ever heard. The Sound engineers all loved it and come up afterward checking out this little beast of a rig. They had never heard of Genzler before but was definitely impressed.

Release that beast into the wild... Post pics! Looking forward to seeing it !

Some gigs I BOOST a little bit of bass others I run Flat with a low mid boost depending on my cab.. My UBER 115 needs a little messing with the Mids whereas my MG212 is pretty much flat out.. .Maybe a slight "A" contour. Depending on the gig. I work with about 8 different gigs right now.
When i hit a bad sounding room i now know to used "B" contour and it fixes most issues fast

I am going to get a new 410-3. I think it will cover a lot of ground
