Let me know what you think it adds over the 2 cabs. I have 2 and have been wanting the 3rd.

I had an outdoor show cancelled today due to heavy rainfall..
So I was daydreaming and thought that these new Bass Array cabs may be very friendly to being Mic'd up.. Unlike other cabs with a tweeter that are a challenge ..
Bass Array has Everything already lined up for you to put a quality mic like an EV RE20 close up on teh cab for some isolation. but right between the 12" and the ARRAY area.
mmm. Just thinking
Found the group a little late and sure this topic has been discussed in the 160 pages or sooo. Was fortunate enough to pick up a Magellan for a good price with intentions of a good yet powerful light weight rig in my old age. Having a hard time deciding between a 112-3 or 210-3. Play from country to hard rock. Any input?

So.... Funny story- I subbed for a friend of mine last night to play bass for country artist Doug Stone who had 8 number one’s way back in the day. (Sorry, I was stoked to do it, Nevermind my shameless bragging! ) Decided to take 2 BA12-3’s and My Magellan 800- I’ve been running the Sans Amp BDDI in front of it to dirty it a little more. Set up, sound check- rig sounds great and nothing but nice comlpliments from the band guys.
Before the show, the bass player I’m subbing for calls me to see how things are going. He had been at the Dallas Guitar show and told me he heard this little bass rig that sounded incredible! He loved everything about it! It was 2 little cabs, had these 4 small speakers in the front. Great tone! Loud! A Genzer, Gezler.... something. I went on the stage and took a quic pic of my rig on his gig and sent it to him. I asked it it may look a little like the pic! Lol- now that’s funny!
I've only played the 210-3 at the Music shop. I have gigged the BA12-3 extensively. I found as Loring has stated the 210 punchier but preferred the 12-3. To me its deeper and fuller. I was going to pick up the 210 to add to my 12 but Jeff Genzler and a bunch of folks here spoke very highly of adding the same cab. And they were right!Found the group a little late and sure this topic has been discussed in the 160 pages or sooo. That is too funny. Can relate. Am Getty to add 12-3 slant to my new class D 800 head.

Love your story and love that rig!
We should get together sometime soon! Can’t wait to hear you incoming 410!
I think a lot of us went with the straight / slant combo...
If / when I add a third though - which way to go? another slant or another straight. It'll be a while before I do this so I have time to think lol.
absolutely... !! I have a few BIZZ topics to go over with you too..
