I'm taking a mental health day today from work.
Finally had some time to play my 5-string Dingwall NG3 thru (in succession) my 2x BA12-3 rig, and the BA410, to A/B them. Same bass, same head (Mag 800), same eq.
Now for some observations:
Despite the fact that the 410 is brand new and the 12s have miles on them, there was a distinct difference between the 12s and 10s, and the 10s were much punchier and tighter. The 12s rounder and woolier. Both handle the low B with aplomb. The 410 was only a slightly bit louder, just from ear memory.
All of which is EXACTLY what I am after.
Now I have full confidence that the 410 is my Led Zeppelin rig of doom.
The 12s are 100% my country rig of doom.
And I'm just so happy with both decisions.
Thanks again Jeff for making such great gear, and all of you for your enablement.
