Genzler Amplification Club

You guys are being way too practical- do you need 300+ hp in your car/truck? Do you need a 4k tv? 15 year whisk(e)y? Boutique basses? No, but they sure are nice to have... :D

The thing I like best about the 3 stack is it’s up closer to ear level, and the punch in the chest you get from it. It’s very inspiring. But to each their own...

For the record, I have 2 straight and one slant...

I like your style. Nice lookin rig. We'll need to show it this way at NAMM.

Two BA12-3 Stacked would be nice. Three might be even better I guess, but I’m still waiting on the opportunity to wreck a venue with this 12-3 on 410-3 stack!!

Looks like I will be at NAMM.. My gig was postponed two weeks.
I'll mostly be at the Alleva Coppolo booth . I think it is BOOTH 2448 which is downstairs...
I believe Jimmy @ Alleva will have a Genzler Bass rig to DEMO basses too..

I was going to go for Carpal Tunnel surgery but I have to put that off... ughhhh.. It never ends!

I was computer programmer for 30+ years, bowled in leagues and played guitars, so I suffered from Carpal Tunnel in my main wrist. I thought about getting the surgery to correct the problem and ease the pain, but just never did. I retired from my programming job in 2015, and don’t bowl quite as much as before, but still play guitar and had the painful wrist flare ups. I visited a massage therapist and told her about my issues, and after a couple of neuromuscular massage sessions the pain in my wrist is hardly noticeable and not even close to needing surgery.
I know there are those who would say there is no relief from Capal Tunnel from a massage, but, knowing my experience, they can’t convince me of that.

I had carpal tunnel issues for over 20 years. Did everything under the sun to relieve the issue holistically but nothing took. Finally had a few flare ups that convinced me I needed to do something more drastic. I went to my doctor, got a recommendation for a wrist guy and went through the qualification process. They determined that I needed surgery in both wrists, so in the fall of 2017 I bit the bullet and got them both done (a month apart).

All I can say is that I wish I had done this years ago. The difference is life-changing. I can play now - no pain. no restrictions on speed, nothing. It's wonderful. Don't put it off if it's something you really need. It sucks in the short term, but overall it has been worth it 100 times over.

To all Genzler NAMMers - can someone schedule a FB live from Bass Bash or something similar? All this NAMM chatter has me very hungry and GAS-y!

I'm going to that on Thursday night, I'll see what I can to FB-live wise. Going to the Tsunami Bass Hang on Friday night, will seek to do same. Follow me on FB @Gary Holdsworth

I'll go back to my hotel room and get some sleep... haha
