The thing I like best about the 3 stack is it’s up closer to ear level, and the punch in the chest you get from it. It’s very inspiring. But to each their own...

Nice pic! I agree that practically 2 BA12-3 cabs have plenty of ooomph. But that 3-stack just looks wow! And you make a good point about being closer to ears and inspiring.

I ran a pain clinic for 35 years before retiring from it. And had success with many cases of carpal tunnel syndrome using hands-on Chinese Therapeutics. Also saw many cases diagnosed as "carpal tunnel syndrome" when it appeared that it was neurological cause from upper thoracic/lower cervical. Surgery can be necessary, but I wonder at percentage of cases that can be helped without it. And scar tissue can be a problem after any surgery. Glad you were able to get relief - it suks having pain of any kind.

As far as overkill, I used to have 2 4x10's on top of a 2x15 (hartke xl's) powered by a hartke 7000 (6 space rack was placed on the floor). I used this only for our biggest shows, outdoor and theatres. Ok, sometimes it was just a 2 4x10 stack next to the single 2x15, but I did sometimes stack them all. Feeling your bass in your bones is inspiring for sure. It's like having one of those thumping drum thrones but for bass.

It was interesting that I had some of the very top name people in the live & recording music industry (band members) who somehow heard of me and came to the clinic and still do for my classes in the self-healing Chinese exercises. This is as close as I will ever get to interacting personally with top music stars; my "advanced garage band level" of bass playing won't ever get me there, haha. I also was told I had carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists. Yes, I have some local damage, but the extensive pain was from the neurological spinal pressure/nerve impingement. But I still have fun with my MG800/Genzler BA12-3 pair and playing bass.

It’s sad to hear that a lot of us are having pain/health issues, but good to hear people are getting through them.

I am having some hand and shoulder issues (thinking they are related), hoping it’s due to sleeping on my side and a new pillow will help. Gets here tomorrow- I’m more excited about it than getting a bass delivered! Of course the goal is to get back to being pain free and being able to play again, so I suppose it’s bass-oriented ;)

This is so cool! It's not just about how loud you can get with one cabinet, two or three just adds a feel and tone you can't get out of a single cab. It makes hearing, feeling your bass and tone effortless when you have enough horsepower and moving enough air. This is an awesome rig!
