I have had a few Uber cabs (Joey- do you still have the 210?) and they were exceptional. I have heard that the Uber 410 is a beast!
Finally got out of guitar duty and had a chance to get the new-to-me MG800 and 12-3 (I only took one) in a live setting. I was very pleased. I gotta admit that, although it sounded like a quality amp, I hadn't been blown away by the rig in my rehearsal space like I thought I'd be. I think I was just always tweaking things because of the options.
The rig really came alive in a live situation. I think the thing that stood out to me is that I was able to sound like I wanted to sound instead of sacrificing the tone I want by playing with frequencies so I didn't get lost in the mix like we all do. I simply made my bass sound like I wanted it to and it just filled the stage and the venue with my tone without excessive volume. It was really "set and forget," which was disappointing in a way because we all love to mess with new gear.
The gain channel also went from being disappointing in rehearsal to shining on stage. I didn't really think it was going to have enough overdrive to fill out spaces left when the guitarist in a trio takes off on a run, but it did exactly that. It helped fill the spaces. No more, no less. It kind of made me realize that I had been using overdrive wrong for years. By using such an overdriven tone, I had really been creating a sense of trying to compete with the guitar solo instead of supporting it. I did throw in a bit more dirt with a pedal a couple of times, but not much.
It was a good first outing for the rig. It was also nice to carry my rig in one trip.

I have Tuki Covers for both cabs. They do a good job keeping them nice. I see Array Cabs in my very near future though!!!
Very nice!!! I have used mine with an UBER QUAD and UBER 115 stack and that is a great combination.
Can't go wrong with UBER's or a Magellan. Actually can't go wrong with Genz Benz or Genzler period.
245 pages and 4800+ messages about Genzler Amplification and few (if any) gripes/complaints.
I have one - where are the F*ing hats and T-shirts? If nothing else we need to protect the 10-2 arrays!
