How does it sound raised versus in direct contact with the floor?

To be honest I've never tried. I was so thrilled with the sound I never thought of removing the (Toft's Dairy, Sandusky, Ohio) crate. I raised the cabs so I wouldn't have to play as loud. I'm not sure a milk crate is enough to decouple the speaker from the floor.

I hear you. I’m not sure either but have been told it does (decouple)

just read the manual and yes, it has both Hpf and Lpf.....so I guess I'll have extra pedals to sell, or I might keep them for "just in case"....

Just wanted to show everyone that I am having some fun right now before I go to bed.

And if anybody is wondering why I am not using my UBER cabs, it's because they are too big and heavy to be taking upstairs. Besides the TC cabs sound really good also.

It seems this thread tends to lean more towards the cabs, but the Magellan 800 is a very nice head. Sounds great through every single one of my cabs.

Used it last night with 2 GK NEO 112'S with excellent results. Very reminiscent of my Streamliner 600, but harder hitting.

Not to sidetrack a favorite thread, but I have a set of those 112’s as well. I might pair em up with my MG800 for a spin..... then it’s back to my 12-3’s though. Hehee

I believe you can safely get rid of the bookends and just keep the Genzlers!

Just got the M800! Just what i was looking for tone wise.
