Ordered my BA 15-3 SLT Thursday. 2ND day shipping is supposed to have it here Saturday. Tracking is saying expected delivery is Monday. Oh well, I guess Saturday is out, I’ve waited this long, really wanted it for Saturday. Will post pics and impressions after arrival. Thanks so much again Jeff.

Ha, I haven’t had anything land on time. Also, after all these years of shipping without issue, recently I have had three items damaged. One including a broken neck. The other including a bent face plate on a Jule amp. Ugh...
Which is odd as I’ve ordered a couple things - Focusrite Solo and a Moog Sub 37 - and both arrived a day early.

No other cab was EVER considered to pair with my D-800+ head. The BASS AARAY design pulled me in from the start. The rave reviews for me, made it a no brained to go with tha BA CAB.

I almost bought the Mesa head also. A really good deal popped up on the genzler ( it was a toss up between the two ) and I went with the mg800...
I find the Magellan super easy to dial in and perhaps more neutral - both great pieces of kit. I think you’re going to love that rig.

Well, I fired the rig up with my SDRUM pedal and my bass. OH MY WORD! Not disappointed at all. I’m glad I chose th BA-15 over the BA-12. Un 15? , for sure. Lows for days, punchy, but not muddy. Midrange and highs, silky smooth, not hash at all. Don’t get that pingy ice pick hitting glass sound you you get from many tweeters. Dispersion you get from this cab is a bonus. Only thing better than this cab would be to have TWO OF THEM, LOL!
Had my first gig in 3 months this past Saturday. It was outstanding! The tone I got from my MG800 was amazing, punchy and growly, couldn't ask for anything more.
I want a Magellan 800 carrying bag. They seem to be out of stock everywhere. Does anyone have one that they are looking to move?
I hate to say, I found a soft sider computer laptop bag that does great, and has room for the elect. cord, and a couple of speak-on cables from Samsonite. Works for me.
