There is less "turbulence" in the tone because there are less standing waves inside the cabinet. If you wanted a more "rounder" bottom end, maybe the STRAIGHT version would be good as you're considering the BA210-3 cabinets.

Originaly i want to buy BA15-3, but in Europe its not in shops. (Anderton's, Thomann.de)

The speaker/cabs need any run-in process for reach the 100% ability of sound?
/Hi-Fi spaekers factory always suggest 1-2 week run-in/

I just purchased the 115 after playing through the 410 for a couple of months. My ultimate gigging rig is to combine them and run my amp @ 2 ohms, which I did last night for the first time, and was very pleased!
When I don’t have them together, I leave my 410 at my rehearsal space and bring my amp home so I can play through the 115. The 115 by itself is the best sounding single 15 I’ve ever heard, if your looking for the low end delivery of a 15” cab that has surprising clarity on its own. I am not the best with understanding the technical aspects of speaker cabinet design, but I can now say first hand that Genzler has done something very right with the Bass Array cabinet line. Also, it is freakishly light!!! So my lower back is also very happy!

So glad you like these cabs individually and together. Nice looking rig you have. Thank you for your purchases. And yes that 15 feels like we left the woofer out of the cab. ;)

Pic of the amp family, finally got my Mesa cab out of the garage and down into the basement. That Genzler 12-3/mg800 rig gets played every day. It's been about a year, maybe two for the Mesa, gonna fire her up sometime this week.

Wow....Nice stable of amps!! Does that Tube Works 7200 get much play? That unit looks like the Genz Benz/Tube Works days. Nice that it's still around.

It's nice that any of us are these days. Thanks for the compliment, and yeah, that is a GB/TW 7200. Doesn't get much play anymore as I have toys-of-the-moment that get all the attention (Genzler). Still works though, been about 16 months since it's been on.

Question for @Jeff Genzler at your convenience:

What is the impedance for the headphone out? I've been researching headphones and learning about impedances (250 ohm for studio use for example). My current headphones are 32 ohm.

I have both as well and have been using the 12 as my primary cab and the 10 for small, low volume settings. These days with Covid 19 have changed everything for everyone... I play in a church band on Sundays. The church has continued to meet, outside with social distancing and masks. (I’m reminded why I hate to play outside). I have found that the combo of the two cabs works quite nicely outside while either one by itself seemed to lack something.

revroy, when you use both cabs do you generally use the 800? Just curious if you have also paired the two cabs with the 350 and what you observed.

Love my 350 combo but aiming to add either another 10-2 or the 12-3. Just can't decide :D

I rarely use the 350 except at home simply because my 800 is out and available = more convenient, while the 350 is in a closet underneath some cables etc. IME, the two sound virtually identical other than the additional channel on the 800 (which I use very, very rarely), the additional I/O (which I also don't use), and the additional power (which I don't need at this point). Had I purchased the 350 first, I would not have felt the need to get the 800. The 350 would meet all of my current and likely future needs and sounds great. I have compared them a few times and when set to the same volume with the same EQ settings, I couldn't tell you which is which without looking.

As to which cab to add... they don't sound the same. The 10 punches a bit harder and is brighter while the 12 is more round, goes deeper, and is a little louder. Adding another 10 would give you more of what you have with the easiest schlep and small footprint. The 12 would give you a different voice as an option and a third voice when used together but is a bit larger and heavier although still very light weight. No bad choice... I'm glad I have both. I do wish I had the SLT version of the 12 but not enough to make me sell and buy another.

Thank you so much revroy, your information is what I needed! Glad to hear both heads were similar in tone and output. The only time I would see myself getting the 800 is for the effects return. Otherwise I've been more than happy with my 350.

As for the cab, I'm leaning towards the STR 12-3, to get the roundness, depth, and fullness I sometimes look for.

Hi FTP - fyi, another flavor of excellence - the MG12T-V cab. I guess it would be described as more "old school" sounding than the bass array 112. Warm yet very clear, and the tweeter provides a really pretty sheen to the sound, not shrill in any way - if you elect to use the tweeter. In addition to the wonderful sound (with my MG350 amp), the cab is light and very easy to carry. I also like the vertical orientation so i don't have to bend down quite so far to make adjustments. But as many have already said, you can't go wrong with any Genzler product.
