Oof! That pretty much covers it all. anyone know if the 12-3 has the same footprint as the 15? Considering adding that for the moment and if it doesn’t do what I hope then maybe trade someone a 12-3 for 2-10. And then I still have another 12-3

I'm in very much the same position - including questioning my timing of thinking about such things. But, I wonder if starting with a 210 first instead of 115 would go, and then maybe add the 115 later? I have 2 of the 12-3 and they sound really good, but then I picked up a GB Uber 210 and I think that's going more in the direction of the sound I personally want to hear.

The Genzler amps have a hardwired HPF at 30 Hz iirc

Is it the same for the MG350? I would assume so? If that's the case then I guess I just saved myself some money and space on the board. We used a 40Hz mark but I guess if Jeff thinks 30Hz works for his amp, who am I to second guess.

@RNG1 --- Just so you have the correct info, the BA12-3 width is 19" and the BA15-3 SLT is 23"W, so there would be 2" on either side of the BA12-3 if you placed on top of the 15". they all are the same depth so they do stack in that regard.

Hey guys, I can't remember, is there any kind of built in HPF or LPF in these heads? Didn't see anything on the site. I really liked what they did for my sound when I used them Saturday at a DI/IEM gig. Bass was more defined and tighter. Not that my MG350/Tall 12 isn't awesome, but I wonder what a filter in front of it would do? I love what my LA-1A does in front of it as well.

@SteveC Yes the MG800 and MG350 have the same HPF circuitry. Set at just under 30 Hz.

I recently replaced a combo amp from another manufacturer I was using for home practice with a Genzler MG350 combo, and was amazed by the difference in tone quality and clarity. It impressed me to the extent that I acquired an MG800, as well, to use for live band situations...I'm sure I haven't had the wide experience with amps/cabs as many others, but these are the first amps I've set pretty much flat from an EQ standpoint that have delivered such incredible tone. When I do get the urge to fiddle a bit, the contour knob is killer! OK, enough gushing...

Speaking of acquiring Genzler stuff, my little 350 combo has recently gotten taller.

I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit, though...I'm not sure of the "right" way to physically connect the 3 cabs to the amp. I realize that the 3 8 ohm cabs will equal a 2.67 ohm load, and the switch on the back of the amp should be set to reflect that. Here's my question -- should only one of the SpeakON connections on the amp go to the top cab, then the 2nd SpeakON on the top cab to the middle cab, then the 2nd SpeakON on the middle cab to the bottom? When running 2 cabs, I used both SpeakON connections on the back of the amp, and connected one to each cab, but I don't think there is any difference from an electrical standpoint vs. connecting via the 2nd SpeakON connector on the cab.

there is no difference how you cable the 3 together.
When I had 3, I did use the 2 outs from the head and then just daisy chain the last one. But again, it matters not.
Just use quality Speak-on (there was a thread on that) speaker cables and you're good to go.
