Once again, I was tempted by “XYZ” brand with a ridiculous deal on a cab. Almost bit, but then I play a gig with my Genzler and damn, it sounds so good, is so much more portable than a 410, and does everything I need and so well.

I’m having thoughts:
I got my 12-3 and 12-3 slt stack prior to a couple of options that are now available. Let me start by saying there is absolutely nothing wrong with my current setup so I don’t know why these thoughts keep popping up especially when my live gigging status hasn’t warranted any need for change, however still the thoughts are the following:
Historically in the old days I was an 8x10 guy, then for many years my main rig was a road cased 15”EV with a 2x10 that I biamped with an awesome Ashley preamp. So I’ve never been a 12 guy but my current setup really changed that for me because as we all know these don’t sound like anything else out there. HOWEVER, now that there are these other Genzler options I’m finding myself thinking that I want either the modern 8x10 version of 2 410-3 or a 15 and 2x10 again as that was what I loved and will likely love even more with Genzler. My other thought was go 15 and 4x10 which would kinda be a hybrid of all my past culminating in what likely would be “all I’d ever need”. (As if what I currently have isn’t all I need).
Apologies for the ramble, Cadillac problems as they say.

I have the 15 and love it. The 210 would make an awesome addition. Maybe very soon. Would still be a modular set up that is still very flexible.A 15 and two 2x10’s.
You’re welcome.

Don’t know how loud you want to go but modern speaker design puts a 3 12-3 stack capable of over 130db... the 810pro maxes at 137 with the other 810’s in the 127-130 range.I’m having thoughts:

Not a volume thing at all with me actually, but about tone and fullnessDon’t know how loud you want to go but modern speaker design puts a 3 12-3 stack capable of over 130db... the 810pro maxes at 137 with the other 810’s in the 127-130 range.
I do know my svt with an 810 brought the cops over a few times - I’m sure if I wanted to turn up that loud that the genzler could summon them also...

super rad! Thanks for sharing. So, I did this recording while being on this limited gig scene we’re all in. I recorded all the basses using the Magellan 800 out to my interface. All the other instruments were recorded by me as well. Check it out!!

Oof! That pretty much covers it all. anyone know if the 12-3 has the same footprint as the 15? Considering adding that for the moment and if it doesn’t do what I hope then maybe trade someone a 12-3 for 2-10. And then I still have another 12-3Tone + Fullness = Building Blocks!

The BA15-3 SLT is the same width as the BA210-3 & BA410-3
