In addition to trying out the new Re/Q this weekend, I also had the pleasure of introducing a young buck to my Genzler rig. We had a new band “open” for us (took the first set) and he asked if he could use my setup. I willingly and happily obliged him. He was worried when he saw my pedalboard as he said he’s a “clean” player. I assured him, everything he was playing through from the board to the amp would be the most pleasant “clean” he’d ever played through.
He was very happy.
Hoping it translates into some new kit for him.
Likewise, The old bastardized NC-212T made an appearance this weekend. The guy I sold it to had the cajones to do what I didn’t want to do; take a razor blade and disassemble the cab to cut out all the added batting. He loves it…even if it’s NOT a neo 210…
