One of the things I appreciate here is Jeff listens to our suggestions. That being said, I love my Genzler Bass Array t-shirt and would love one in the color scheme of the new pedals!

I just started using a Genzler Magellan 800 and I’m having trouble getting hiss in the background when I turn the volume up to reasonable volumes.
What can I do to reduce hiss?
I’ve got the volume dialed to 3 o-clock and the gain dialed to 8 o’clock. The bass knob is at 10 o’clock and everything else is flat. Im using a PJB C8 cab with it and a Lakland 55-02

Hi gang, I'm hoping to join the Genzler club here soon!
I have the option to buy either the MG350-BA10 combo or the MG350-MG112 combo for roughly the same price point (both are open box/blemished). I play mostly jazz on the upright bass, but the occasional rock/funk gig on electric. My main band can get pretty loud with a full horn section and excited drummer. Which one of these combos would you go for?
I'll be flying these back home (currently living outside the US) so I don't think I'll have an option for a 2nd cab. Thanks everyone!

Don’t know about the hiss but that setup is about the opposite of how my gain structure is setup! Volume at 3 o’clock ? Wow!
my gain is just around noon and my master almost never goes above 9 o’clock (2 cabs) or 11 o’clock with one…
My $.02 is the 112 w350 offers a bit more punch for the rock-funk gig. Dont sleep on the Re/Q pedal which will get you through both upright and electric in whatever setting. Also gotta love the portability for both and each with their own covers. As we say here, can’t go wrong with either.

The MG350/112T-V is a fantastic combo. It's easy to carry. It gets loud. It sounds great. I think it looks awesome as well. You can dial in the tweeter to where it works for you. I'd say one of the best combo amps in production today.

Yep. I received a phone call from Jeff on a Saturday morning once. I didn't even know he was going to call. I've had Genz Benz and Genzler products for decades. It's not just coincidence. There are other great and reputable companies for sure, with great products, but I think Jeff and company have really nailed it with quality, intuitive, great sounding and looking products that are pretty affordable - especially considering the, history service you will receive.
I have both speakers that I use with a MG350 (actually I have a pair of BA10-2s). If only using one cab, I prefer the MG112 - a bit more bottom end and able to put out a bit more more volume. When using a pair, both work well, but again a 112 with a 10-2 gets the slight edge. I'm actually trying to decide which of my 3 cabs to sell - I don't see myself ever needing 3, and I'm torn between keeping the pair of 10s vs a 10 and a 12, which gives me a bit more flexibility. I do love the form factor of the 10s, and the really great bag for the 10-2/MG 350 combo. But if I had to choose just one, it would probably be the 112. Both are super-easy to carry but for the occasional loud gig, I'd go for the 12.
Thank you for the call Jeff. That was fast and very helpful. I will try the steps you suggested. I’m sure the hiss is from the bass itself, and now I understand how I can work through getting the hiss from my bass to a tolerable level.
