Unleashing my NC212T at a hardcore show tomorrow. First time gigging it. So far in rehearsals I've gotten only compliments.
It also is such a beautiful rig that has a huge voice when you need it to! I expect a gig report with full details!

My first time with my new Genzler rig! 6 piece band at a large back yard event (in a tent).
I'm a long-time Genz-Benz user. I still have (and use) a Shuttle 3.0 but I sold my Shuttle 9.0 and 210 cab a few years ago 'cause I wasn't using them anymore. The 9.0 and 210 were a great pair - and I should have kept them - but then I wouldn't have had the excuse to upgrade! So I picked up what you see here.
Anyway this all worked great and I got compliments on my sound. I found it easy to dial in what I was looking for...clean channel, flat EQ, and just a little touch of the blue contour.
I could play any venue with this rig I think! And I love the way I can break it down. One BA 10-2 will live with my Shuttle 3.0 for home practice and small gigs. The rest will stay at our practice place.

Gig report!
Played a hardcore floor show at a tiny burger joint last night. The kind of gig that makes adults cringe.
Pushed back start time 1.5 hours. No place for our gear so we left it in a freezing van for hours and unloaded after opener finished (we headlined).
Drunk skankers in a 10 sq ft area. Beer spilled on the guitar players pedal board.
But I digress.
The band that opened had an 8x10 fridge and I was scared that my NC212T would underwhelm. I was wrong.
Without pushing my Orange TB500 past 2 o clock on the master and gain the cab killed. Granted, the space was small, but I wanted something that could handle small gigs without PA support (which we did have) and this is doing it.
Howevwr, I didn't get any comments about the tone except from my band, because the other bands just wanted to know about my 2006 P Bass Jr.
Love this cab. Worth every penny. Hope to add a NC112T and a head that can handle 2.67ohms at some point, but may not really need to.

So this is really fun. Bass -> pedal board-> Little Bastard -> LB DI into FX return of MG800. ReQ in the loop of the LB. Took my 30watt all tube head and borrowing the MG800 power amp.
My re/Q didn't get here in time for last Saturday's gig but it's here now. Looking forward to trying it out Friday night. I think it's going to work magic!
Last evening I had the chance to play my new Magellan 800 for the second time at our rehearsal space. This time with a single straight 12-3 array cab.
It realy is a marvelous unit! It delivers the whole bass' sonic spectrum with punch and authority. The low B on my 5-string sounded positively thunderous! Great amplifiers and cabinets, this Genzler stuff

That's a 12-3 isn't it? What stand do you have it on?
Played our last gig for 2021 a couple of nights ago. Bass tone was on point as always!

I've gone backwards. I just sold my Magellan 350 and my Streamliner 900 and bought a never-gigged Streamliner 600 still in its original packaging. The 900 scared me with the possibility of blowing up my 600w cab, the 600 is perfect. There is a softer, tubey front end to each note with the Streamliner compared to the Magellan. This suits my vintagey approach.
Know what you mean, the second Genzler amp that I ever bought was a SM600 (replaced a Shuttle 6.0). I wish now (after who knows how many head buy/sells) that I ‘d just stopped there. Now using a Magellan 350 with a Sushi Box preamp pedal to make sound like ——a Genz Benz amp with a tube preamp! Great amp that 600 was, just the right amount of power with tubes goodness. My cas are a pair of Genzler 10-2 array cabinets. They would sound great with a Streamliner 600. If only I was smart enough to stick with a good thing!
@agedhorse if you ever have your hands on a minty SL600 to sell, let me know. One of your best designs in my opinion. Should have kept it 10 yrs ago….
