Same here. It’s worst on the E notes on the G string on the D string 14th fret. Happens with all my basses and and while playing through my Magellan 800.

I have the 15-3. Absolutely no problem, especially when positioning the cab properly in a small space. Any of my basses sound just fine and any tones I don’t like or may be more than I want, can be tamed, eliminated, or excentuated at the amp. Very even response, this cab is perfect for me.
I have two 15-3 and have no issues. I did order a 210 and 15-3 at the same time and had an issue with one of them. Can remember which one now, but I think the issue was a plug for the array came loose in shipping and would occasionally at certain frequency’s rub or vibrate on the back of the cone and make a noise similar to what you are describing. Jeff can correct me if I am wrong, but this could be the culprit and could be due to plug being dislodged in rough shipping. Just a thought.

Just a note: If anyone is running a DG Hyper Luminal please double-check them. I thought I had fried my whole rig and was ready to ping Jeff for a new one...then I noticed the on/off switch was not actually working and the HL was frying the highs (an internal failure) then passing that crackle into the rest of the pedalboard and onto the amp.
same thing happened to me but I realized it was the pedal immediately.
Hey Genzler club, I'm back with another question for you guys. I have a ShuttleMAX 6.0 and it has 2 channels, both with a gain and volume knob. Then there's the master volume knob. I never really understood the relation between those 3 knobs on that amp, and I see that the Magellan 800 has a volume knob on the left side, plus one for master. Is that essentially the new "gain" knob? Can someone please explain how you balance that with the master knob? Thanks in advance!

Yes - but I think Jeff called it volume to avoid confusion with the gain knob on the dirty channel. Turn it up till the red light barely comes on - back it off a hair and use the master as your final output. On the dirt side the gain controls the dist. amount and the volume balances the output to the eq and master volume.

I've been using my NC212 only for recent gigs and it's been great. Last night we did an 'in the park' gig so I brought the NC210+NC112 which is another great combination.
Tonight, we have a slightly larger 'in the park' type gig so I was going to bring the NC212+NC112 but since I already have the 210 in the car...in theory...I could actually run all three from the MG800 as it's been covered here previously that head can handle 2ohms when paired with Genzler cabs.
This band's PA is designed for smaller bars/venues and I never run bass through FOH but for this gig the drummer is bringing a sub that we *may* be able to hook up to the usual PA to run instruments - but I'm not betting the house he'll be able to get it figured out.
Would the 3 cab approach give me any appreciable headroom compared to the 212+112 approach? Other thoughts/concerns? The thought of using all three cabs makes me giddy but if there's nothing to be gained it's just more stuff to carry around.

I would let the PA do the heavy lifting for audience volume - it’s so simple to plug the Magellan DI into a PA.
Then you just need to worry about your own stage volume. With that many cabs you’ll easily overpower the singer and drums and you’ll have less control over what the audience hears. (I know I should be saying bring it all and crank it
)

For sure - if I was 100% confident the PA could handle it I'd have no worries but the PA setup is 2 Mackie 12" powered speakers with only vocals normally running through them - we've never tried hooking up this sub before so I'm not counting on that being in play. Maybe I'll just do the 212+112 and just try to add a touch of bass through the PA to give it a little more carry without overwhelming the PA speakers.
Hello All. New here to the Genzler thread. I've played a lot of different cabinets over the years, and have been playing another boutique brand for quite some time now. While I love their stuff, I'm looking to get back to my roots with 15s, and they don't happen to have one in their lineup. I particularly like a 210/115 pairing. That combo seems to offer the best of both worlds - the 15 provides that earthly, woody low end and low midrange, while the 10s add upper midrange clarity and solid bottom end. I've listened to clips of both the Bass Array and Nu Classic 210/115 combos and they both sound fantastic. Wondering if anyone has any real world comparisons to share. I play a mix of classic/southern rock, as well as 90s and current rock. I'm thinking the Nu Classic combo is the logical choice, but I've always been intrigued by the Bass Array series and it sure sounds amazing in that Nate Navarro demo video! I'm also curious about the difference in feel/tone between the ceramic Nu Classic and the neo Bass Array.

Bluesy was nice enough to take pics before their journey, and I tell you... their packaging looked the same as they did when shipped... so, kudos to both Bluesy and FedEx for the expert handling and shipping!
I'll be putting both through their paces, tomorrow. Thanks again, West Coast Cat!
