With the drive knob I’ve found that between 1 and 3 is where things really start to happen.
Why have two high pass filters (Broughton and HPF in the 4OTF)? Also, using the Broughton, since it’s not marked like the Genzler with frequencies, do you just dial to taste? Right about where the boom drops?
The hpf in the 4otf only affects the effected signal. The broughton will affect the whole signal
I like to run an HPF at the front of the board to reduce subsonic lows from hitting the envelope filter or any other 'touch sensitive pedal. The 4otf and crashbox have adjustable hpfs on the pre-side of the od/distortion circuit which really let the user fine tune how the drive circuit is influenced by lows, which is fantastic. I use the 4otf as an always-on pedal - so I want more lows (but not all) hitting the drive. The Lpf is post-drive (still doesn't impact clean), this allows the user to roll off the highs - much like a cab without a tweeter or horn would do. A full-range DI'd od or distortion sounds bad. To most people.
I do actually have other filters on the board. They each are for a different thing and generally are defeatable as well, except the one on my pre amp.
I even use the hpf on my power amp (crown xls-1502) and set it to 30hz. No reason to ever pass anything below 30hz to my BB3's.

I love my WD800 but WOW the Magellan 800 sounds even better with the Genzler cabs!!! Running a BA15 under a BA210-3SLT.
Anyone selling the bag for it?
Smoother high mids, a little more grunt in the low mids, big beautiful bottom and throaty velvety highs. Fixes my issue with slap tone on the Genzler cabs. It just sounds right! And minimal tweaking! More playing!
The top end reminds of me of my Markbass F500…like a Norah Jones treble tone. Just a bit of rasp yet so velvety smooth and beautiful and rich.

Hey all, just thought I would post an update. Finally got my 2xM12T-V's delivered this morning just before rehearsal! Took them along, plugged it in and it was all rockin from there.
The Cabs are articulate, responsive, aggressive in the mids (in a good way - can be tamed) and sound huge. They sound much better and fuller together but one is no slouch. I keep experimenting with the settings on the MG800 - but today ran mostly drive and contour A as the cabs are mid heavy already - also heaps of highs with the tweeters off, I even cut the treble a bit. They easily matched my last 2x12, but the band said they sound way better - and it's so much easier moving 2x112 especially these light as ones.
Sounds great with the Charvel and pedals. I have the Crash Box at the front of the chain from my last rig, where I used it mostly as a tone shaper/always on. Gear 2, no clean, drive around 12 - this way I got to utilise the filters for my overall tone. This setting sounded great on my old cab, but was a bit redundant with these cabs and the drive on the MG. So I might put it back into rotation as its intended purpose - od/dist. As some others have mentioned, the great thing about the CB is that you can cycle through the gears at a gig without the volume changing - which is what I did last gig and had basically 3 different drives/uses. On that gig I just took that pedal and not my other dist/fuzz and played our set fine without them.

I have a 350 on top of one of the TV12’s and it’s awesome. If I ever needed more I’m pretty sure I’d go with another TV12. They are light, sound great, take a B string and look cool, too.
You can buy the bag directly from Genzler. Very well made, nice padding, huge outside zipper pocket…AND it also perfectly fits my GB Streamliner 900 (though it’s now relegated to back-up duty)…MG 800 easily cracked the starting line-up!
Yeah I’m lovin it so far - stack looks wicked and it’s great being able to just use one if needed.
I’m sad as tonight is an ampless gig so won’t hear/feel that wonderful BA15-3/BA210-3 combination. But tomorrow’s another story! Outside under the stars.
And yes, I use IEMs but proximity/bleed allows me to hear the cabs JUST fine.

“Old Glory” is a Lakland but not a relic. I threw a flag on it for a 4th of July gig a couple years ago and it stuck. Ha! That’s punny!
