@Michael Vee, thank you so much for your purchase (and a shout out to Greg@Rocket Music) and the detailed review offered here. So glad this little dynamo is working out for you. When you do decide to add the extra BA10-2-S2 the result will be even more astonishing. As I've stated before in regards to the Bass Array concept, the cabinets seem to couple even more that traditional cabs --- due to no only the woofer coupling but the line array coupling as well.

I owned a number of Genz Benz amps and cabs back in the day, and still have the Shuttle 9.2 head and the Shuttle 12-T cabs. Always a wonderful time playing through all the old Genz gear. Glad to be your appreciative customer, Jeff!

I tend to hang onto good gear for a long time. My up until now main and backup heads are 2 35 year old 400RBs. Great amps with a great sound but I was ready for something new and different. Choosing a Genzler amp was a pretty easy decision. My first GB piece was a 4 ohm 210T XB. It was mated to a SWR workingmans 160. Good pairing and the first time I could hear the sound of my bass as opposed to the sound of my amp. The 4 ohms made that little amp gig able. Sold both at some point and later regretted it. Since then I keep stuff. Later I found another SWR WM160 like my old one and found the LS112T to pair with it. Sounded great but that amp on 8 ohm loads lacked the ability to carry any real volume. But it’s a great cabinet and still like new. The Magellan sounds amazing on it. Clear punchy and full. Going to try them together on next gig. Think it can handle it. The MG 350 tone section reminds me a little of the SWR WM 160. gain, contour, 3 band EQ with sweepable mid and master volume. Anyway the new head sounds great next will be a more modern cabinet but this one is no slouch.

SWR and Genz Benz were my staples for many years. I did SWR for a while. Then quit gigging out so I wanted a little combo. The WM10 was good, but I tried a Genz Benz Shuttle 3.0/10T and used that (with another 10T cab for a mini stack) for a long time. When gigging picked up again, I went through all kind of GB stuff. Neo-Pak was amazing. All the Shuttles. So many cabs. All fantastic. It was easy to go with Genzler when it came out. Jeff and company are awesome.

The Re/Q arrived and it fits, although not perfectly, on my small pedalboard. YAY!
Now, time to play with it and get acquainted. :thumbsup:
Note: the black box on the far left is a Rupert Neve DI. I have a 1/4 to 1/4 cable coupler under the board that I can easily access to use the other pedals on the board and bypass the RNDI.

I have to disclose that I don’t play in a Rock band, but I would think having the right bass rig depends on the band and what you need to support it.
Do the acid test, then come back and post your reviews. :thumbsup:

I mostly use my amp for jazz quartet gigs (vibes, drums played sensibly, and guitar also played sensibly) in an outdoor setting. I use a 112V and it is plenty loud and low. I mainly use a 4 string but it also handles a 5 just fine - as long as you don't have ridiculous expectations. I have also used it for a more aggressive jazz group with keys instead of vibes, everyone through an amp, fairly aggressive drummer, and it was still plenty loud and full.
It is still only 175 watts (at 8ohm with one cab) and a 10 or 12 driver, but it is really loud and good sounding for what it is. If I personally ever needed more, I'd have FOH support. I know that's not the same for everyone, but for practice and smaller gigs, yeah, it should be enough. Unless the rest of the band are not realistic.
