Not quite a @Joeykun calibre gig but the NC 212 held its own last night in Wisconsin. I was having some weird signal issues in our rack (forcing our sound tech to ride my volume fader all night) so I ended up playing with an ear out most of the night and it sounded great in the room.

I've been casually looking for a second NEOX 112T for a while. I know they are rare. I wonder, though... how many were ever made to begin with ?

Happy New Year. I may have asked or someone may have posted the answer already. Can I safely use two 8ohm genz Benz cabinets and a genzler 212 cab with the MG800 head. I know that’s a little lower in ohms than it’s rated for

Yes, if these are GB or Genzler cabs running with your MG800 you can run it at 2 ohms without issue. Set the Imp switch to the 2.67 ohm setting. Hope this helps.

They are "rare" because players tend to keep them and they don't turn over much. We built quite a few over the years (both Neo-X and NX2). Keep checking the TB classifieds.

Anyone try mixing the MG and NC cabs? I have an NC212, but want to add a 112 to the mix so I can hear myself. More used MGs in the wild than NC cabs.

Cell phone vid from the front of the stage which gives a pretty good representation of my live tone, punch, and presence with the NC212. I keep it fairly focused and tight to find some sonic space in a six-piece band. (There’s even a couple clams in there to keep things real. )
