Mine arrived today...because I asked really, really nicely in this thread:

Studio quiet preamp to replace Genzler MG-350 for ampless gigs

It's just what I asked for, my familiar MG-350 preamp except with separate controls for Contours A and B and a bonus HPF! Tomorrow I'm heading off to church to see if the HPF can help tame the four second (!) reverb time in that room. I currently cut bass EQ and add mids since the lowest frequencies are the most problematic. Fingers crossed.

Since I have to "post and ghost" and won't be around to chat for a bit, here are some unboxing pics for your enjoyment:

I had the pleasure of demoing this pedal a few months ago and was really impressed with it! it’s a Magellan in the size of the re/Q pedal with foot switchable contours!

So, many useful applications that makes this a must have pedal that plays nice with all the Genzler pedal lineup!!

I’ll have some more posts up later. Until then, go grab yours today!!

@GtenderG ----- Yes, the output is specifically designed so that it will drive a seperate power amp. No problem.

That’s a well thought out preamp pedal. I was impressed that an HPF was included and would like to see this added to the MG800. It’s really useful in helping to shape the low end.

Higher voltage gives a little more headroom with very hot basses played hard.

My memory is foggy on this but IIRC there is some built in HPF going on with the MG800.....that said, if there was ever a updated version I would be happy to trade the drive channel for a variable HPF. Nothing against the drive channel, it's cool but I'm more likely to just use a separate pedal when I want some overdrive.
