Is that a StroboFlip atop your rack? It looks like one.
If I were to use the effects return of my Magellan 800 with a preamp pedal would I be an able to utilize the input of the amplifier and the EQ section for a second instrument?
For what feels like the first time ever I’m trying to utilize what I have instead of spending money on more stuff.
It always seems like the Magellan 800 can already do what I’m trying to accomplish, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case again. It’s been my favorite amp for a while and I don’t see that changing.

I believe that you can do that. Or would the Line In be better? Then you bypass all the eq? Someone will let you know but it sure seems like a relatively inexpensive wok around for a 2 channel/input amp.

You can do that if you use the aux in for the preamp pedal. The effects return interrupts the main signal path from the amp’s input.
It took me a few years but I finally added a matching cab to my MG800.
Magellan Pre in bound to join up with my re/Q and HX Stomp board. Looking forward to this.

played the Flower Festival in Lompoc, CA yesterday afternoon. They had an Ampeg 8X10 on stage so I used it with my Magellan 800. It reconfirmed just how good that head is… it sounded great. I just dropped the bass a tiny bit to get rid of some boominess and it worked.
Yep. At the practice place last night for the Zep band I play my Fender jazz thru my Magellan 800 thru an 810 fridge, it’s a beautiful thing to hear.
I still prefer my bass arrays but it sure does move a lot of air
I went 100% Genzler at Tuscan Village (Salem, NH) last night. Our hired pro sound guy said “man, that is the best bass rig I have seen in a long while, and you sound perfect from every angle with the stage/FOH mix!”

I’m ashamed to say that I’ve not yet swapped out my NC212 for my BA stack.
I’ve had some weird load-ins and went for the single cab convenience over pure sonic bliss. But these folks didn’t seem to mind…

It was a fun one. Festival 2nd stage with a rain delay for the main stage certainly didn’t hurt!
