So is there any reason the DI on the head of my Magellan 800 would make an huge feedback noise through monitors “1 really bad mainly in the oen in front of me”. But I’ve played this house several times
It’s a great really good pa an I’ve had hot pups an dealt with that. But this was strictly super horrible feedback type hum only coming from monitors. It was horrible! Tried the ground lift, an all the diff variables you could think of. New cables, took my board out the mix. But my thing ws he sound man kept saying it was my amp or bass an woulddnt I hear that through the rig? Cause my cabs are silent an sound fine. I don’t get it but it was horrible and the sound dude insisted it was my gear an I just don’t see other then maybe I don’t know something about DI an being something up in that department as to

I just have to state again how good a setup this is for an outdoor gig of about 500 people.
I also have my keys bass going thru the head (in the aux input) which means there is no lack of low end when I'm playing bass with my LH on songs like Misty Mountain Hop, Since I've Been Loving You, No Quarter, Kashmir, etc.
There were several musicians in the audience and all commented on how good the bass sounded.

Me either. In the past, I have always used 1800 watt or so power amps. But my MG800 results in plenty SPL. That said, I would love to see a Genzler 1200 watt amp; just because. Perception sometimes matters, and many times players get what is perceived as “louder/bigger/better” versus what they actually need. For me, I think a 500 watt amp would be plenty.
Here’s an amazing sounding combo:
BA-110 Series 2, on top of series 1 BA-112-3 and BA210-3. “The Abominable Soundstack”
I have played multiple shows at fairly large, medium size rooms, and the sound man often takes me completely out of the house and says it’s still a perfect mix with the rest of the band everywhere. These three cabs match super nicely together. Very full, clear, and articulate with a tight controlled low end. Not quite the depth of the BA-15-3 and BA210-3 stack, but incredible clarity and I actually prefer this indoors. The series 2 BA–110 is the newest cab to me and I love it so much, I just ordered the Acoustic Array Pro combo version series 2. I think I might actually sell my BA–112 because the Series 2 BA–110 has plenty of lows even for my six string bass…I think two of them are going to just kill.
The series 1 Acoustic Array Pro combo Gollihur model is my most used amp for doubling, and as a master for any other cab underneath. I am taking it to my college teaching office to hopefully impress the students and spread the word about Genzler!
another thing, as a bit of an OCD tweaker, I am so happy to have so few knobs to deal with with on my MG – 800 to get a great sound!
and finally, I’ve got a BA–410–3 series 2 incoming tomorrow! That might be the one that rules them all! I will report back after I get a few gigs under my belt with it this week.

High praise, indeed. The S2 110 is phenomenal within its limits. When you get another S2 110 and use them together, you double those limits. One or two 110s as required would cover every gig below those that woould call for the S2 410. That would be quite the setup, to have those three cabs for varying gigs.

Within this context, I took the liberty of calling the cabs with a shorthand name, vs. their official names of BA10-2-S2 and BA2-410-3. The official names have gotten a bit unwieldy and are not always used consistently.
I copied those official names from the product pages on the Genzler site, and you'll notice the Series 2 designation is done two different ways.
Nice! Yes I probably write the wrong designation half the time…
the BA210 and BA15 stack is INCREDIBLE though for the outdoors gigs…so much visceral feel in the lows and so much air
movement. I think I play more ghost notes with this setup just cause it’s so easy and fun. I don’t know if I’ll let these go. I have too many cabs. Kinda. Can’t wait to try the S2 BA410 on top of the BA115!!!

Ya, that Series 2 BA10-2 is a sweet little cab. I have 2 now but my long term plan is to eventually add a third along with either a MG800 or Mesa WD 800 head. They are just so light and easy to move around. These 2 little BA 10's replaced a Mesa Subway 115 for me which is a great cab in its own right, and also replaced some rather heavy and bulky Warwick cabs before that. I feel the 2 BA-10 stack trump anything I've had before these as I feel I'm hearing the natural sound my basses for the very first time, and almost 3 dimensional. For example, I have a Stingray Special 4HH which for the most part I found all but a few of the switch positions pretty useless, they just don't cut through very well. Position 5 in particular which is just the neck pickup by itself was a muddy mess with most any cab combination I've ever tried in the past so I just never bothered with position 5. I tried it once again last night with the new tiny BA-10 stack using my Mesa D-350 head and immediately my jaw dropped. The bass using that pickup selection now mimics all the articulation, depth and air of a double bass; just incredible! These cabs are also very revealing. If you have any flaws in your playing technique these cabs will let you know. As a result you'll become a better more refined bass player.
I can vouch for the awesomeness of a 410-3 / 15-3 combo, although I could not put my slant 15 on the bottom (i'm old, I have casters on my 410-3). I sold my 15-3 while I am in downsized mode. But if I ever feel the need, I know I'd want one again.
I moved in the opposite direction, I actually returned my 410-3 and bought a 15-3 and couldn’t be happier so far. The 410-3 was amazing but a bit much for my little trio and small venues. I feel like the 15-3 will be perfect, it seems to play deeper with less punch in the lows and more mid content. There seems to be a better transition between the 15 and the array than the 410, I would imagine the 12-3 and 10-2 have even more mid focus. Again, I couldn’t be happier and I was already quite happy with the 410-3. The 410-3 and 15-3 stack would be just indulgent for me but if you needed the firepower the pair would be pretty incredible!
This weekend is booked so I will have a few good opportunities to put it through its paces. So far I am not concerned in the least about my rig. Again, Genzler delivers the goods.

Sid, are/were your cabs Series 2?
This is an interesting comparison between 15s and 410s. Joe has played both but I don't think his were both Series 2.
