Here's a clip from the gig. Definitely best to listen with some low end on tap. Computer speakers don't tell the whole story. The audio is from the on camera mics.

Being from Germany, forgive me for not having been familiar with your work, but I must say the respect I note in quite a number of posts in this thread is highly deserved.

I liked the other clip even better. Now I get what you you do with the Eventide...

So as a mid level guy working mid level
Venues now but getting bigger. A bigger festival stages a road tech blended my signal at the festival we played when he micd my 15” an then blended it with my DI? Do most people do this a lot? Pros an cons? It was the most I’ve heard myself in the mix in the house. It reallt showed off the channel
2. I use to be I LOVE With channel 1 but as said what sounds good in bedroom

Might sound ripping in band levels much like I kinda feel but the second channel of Magellan channel one Lower volumes
Sounds so much better generally speaking but turning it up things Change again. I changed from guitsr to bass an I awhile back when I found bass was my home an it’s been a learning lesson the difference in tone and what the “chase is” people want.

We have a couple of summer festivals we do where the sound crew will take the DI and blend it with a miced signal. Why it happens depends on the FOH engineer, available channels, room you’re in etc. A pro to doing this would be a better capture of ‘your tone’. I guess a con might be one more mic to possibly pick up stage noise or cause feedback issues….but this should be a nonissue for a pro outfit…IMO.

Great point. I def don’t need it in my career lol yet. But say I keep it going playing festivals an then get to like you said a solid sound man I think it would be smart. They just did it for me I didn’t request it in the tech rider but I loved how they seeemd eager to mic up my genzler 15” cab. They also said what you did but also
Said the mic I should get is like 3-400 they mentioned don’t want to go cheap on the bass mic maybe cause higher end harder to mess up sound for FOH? I’m such a tone guy an while my genzler Magellan does great I just LOVED one hearing me that full even on outdoor stage. An then the tone was great shook the house!

Thanks for the kind words! I'm hoping to get the video feed files and mix them with the multitrack audio I have.

I just got a Morningstar MC6Pro, so I'm hoping to be able to get around on the H90 more effectively from here on out. Just need to spend the time programming!

I think maybe there's some sound coming off the stage, but it's mostly the DIs from the two MG350s from FOH. I've been playing since the mid 70s and this is by far the best rig I've ever had. (Thanks, Jeff!) I've always gone for a hifi sound so that what comes out of the speakers should match what gets sent to FOH and this seems to do it perfectly.

Be VERY careful of your 10" speaker, you have enough power there with the 9.0 to destroy it with an accident of lapse of good judgement. Recone kits are in stock though...

A quick update:

While the 9.2 sounded GREAT with my little 3.0/Genzler stack, I’m just too worried about blowing the speaker in the 3.0 cab so I’ve swapped it back.

The 9.2 is great with the cab it comes with but am
Selling them both as I won’t regularly be using them. My 3.0 covers 90% of my gigs, I love how it sounds (and how easy it is to load in and out) and I have my Ultra Walter Woods along with a pair of nice EA cabs that I can use when I need to push more air on stage.

Still glad I swapped it out and checked it out. Thanks for all the input again. If you know anybody looking for a nice 9.2 along with a 2x10 cab send them my way please.

Series 2 cabs seem to address one of the only shortcomings I found in Series 1, 1k mid presence. Is there potential of a line array upgrade for folks with Series 1 cabs and FOMO? I have scouted LaVoce 3” drivers on parts express and if they are a drop in replacement it might be worth the cost to me.

I’ve never found the 800 lacking even outdoors. At any rate 1200 vs 800 won’t be much difference in actual sound output.
