I'm dithering about cabs right now as I can't audition much where I live. How would folks describe the differences between the Genzler Bass Array and Mesa Subway cabs? A local dealer has the MG/210BA/12BA in stock and I plan to try it in a couple days, but the MESA stuff is like unicorns around here...
I have owned the Mesa 800 and 800+ with their Subway 112 cabs and I now own Genzler 800 with BA112-3's and 210-3's and have done side by side tests in various venues. The results was actually pretty substantially better with any of the Genzler gear for me. I've had sound engineer's and various people in the churches I play in come up to me when I was doing this and all stated how the Genzler filled the room better and had the best tone they've heard from a bass rig. I sold my Mesa stuff immediately and have been a Genzler fan since. The Mesa gear is top notch to but to me the Genzler gear is just cutting edge cabinets. I've never seen anything that will compare to the portability, power, and tone they possess.
