Genzler Amplification Club

I got my first Genz Benz back in 2009. A ShuttleMAX 12.0. I called Jeff to tell him how much I loved that amp. Shortly after, he suggested I get the Uber 410-T/ 212-T stack and became an artist. Good Idea. That rig sounded so amazing. I later swapped the 212 with a 210-T for my love of 10’s.

When Genzler came out we talked about making the switch. My band was saying I was crazy to do it since I already had a great rig. They ate their words when my Magellan 800, BA410-3/BA210-3 rig hit the stage.

Last year I got to demo the Kinetix 800 and Series 2 BA cabs. My drummer kept bugging me to buy it as he describes “the best sounding bass amp he has ever heard”. I did and he is right! I then got the BA2-410-3 as it’s a great pair with the Kinetix 800!

Thank you Jeff for 16 amazing years of killer tone. And, being there all 10 years with Genzler!

Go Genzler‼️
I just made the switch from a GB Shuttlemax 9.2 to the Magellan 800. I'm still using my Uber Bass 2x12 but all those Genzler are extremely tempting!

Use someone who has used the 2x12, if I were going to get into the Bass Array line, which one cabinet would you suggest?

There's always Home Use. You could also pair the Kinetic with your MG12T-V and mike it for gigs.

But I'm surveyor doing just fine the the MAGELLAN PRE/DI for performances and the MG350 / MG12T-V.
Yeah, I use the combo for jazz or singer/songwriter type gigs. My DI gigs are Stomp as I need/use the pitch shift to use Eb tuning for a number of songs. Saves having another bass.

One cab? The BA2-410-3 would be my suggestion!

@Kenny056 ---- Interesting picture you offer here and your interest in the Bass Array cabs. Perhaps we should talk in a week of so....

Sounds great! I would love to hear what sort of differences there are between the Bass Array and the Nu Classic. The NC 2x12 looks especially interesting.

I really love the sounds my Uber Bass is capable of. I bought that cabinet in 2011. I'm sure technology has only gotten better since then. The smaller footprint of the NC is also quiet appealing.

The tweeter on the Uber cabs are aggressive where the Nu Classic‘s tweeter is more polite. The Nu Classic has an old school vibe with a nice round low end. Very different from the Ubers. But, still a great sounding cab! I got to demo the Nu Classic 210/112 cabs with the Magellan 800.

The Version 2 Bass Array cabs are more in line with your Ubers. And, are almost 30 pounds lighter!!
