The ShuttleMax is a fairly difficult amp to work on, A lot of disassembly is required to do the job properly and I have seen a couple come through the shop recently with much worse (and costly) problems caused by improperly handling the repair. The SM9.2 is a timeless amp with endless options and very versatile sound. I use since many years and have done a lot of gigs with it.
Unfortunately the potentiometers start getting and scratchy now, which keeps me away from further use on stage. @agedhorse Is there any easy way to clean the potentiometers?
In Europe, Surrey Amps can handle this, he is well qualified to do the work IME.
