I went to the west end as well. Only shop in Ontario that currently carries Genzler is in Mississauga. Turned out to be a great experience. The Guitar Shop on Lakeshore Rd. They ordered a cover for me for the 12-3 and have the 210-3 coming in for me to demo. Not sure if I need it but they have had others asking for it.
Hear you. L&M are knocking the little guys out. I have them right around the corner from me. Wouldn't be surprised if Club Bass picks them up. They used to deal Genz benz but are carrying DNA stuff at the moment.
Can you tell me what stand you are using for the rig? Looks good!
Hey David! Got just before the gig. Wanted something for a single cab gigs to raise the cab off the ground. I got a " RS7705 adjustable stand by On Stage" Found it on line at Cosmo music in Toronto. So far so good. Very fast set up and easy to use. The only issue is the support arms are just a fraction too short for the BA cab so I have to slightly decline it back so the cab sits firmly in place. Just need to add some arm extensions to correct the issue.
@StingRaySteve, Great point about your experience into how less physical your playing was when you could hear and feel yourself so much better. That is something I've heard a few times recently and a byproduct of the efficiencies and benefits of the Bass Array design. Glad you like the new rig.
2nd big test is this Saturday night. It's my 2nd band, small and intimate room will be packed as it's a sold out show so very different acoustically and soniclly from the 1st outdoor gig. Looking forward to seeing how the BA handles the room. The Guitar Shop in Mississauga ON is ordering up a BA210-3. I really would like to see how the mix of cabs would work for bigger rooms and the outdoor situations.

Hi. I just realized I didn't get a club number.
Still happy user. Another gig this sunday at movie festival. We will play 1,5 hour improvised piece as accompaniment for swedish mystery horor "The Phantom Carriage" - silent movie from 1921. I prepared settings for some spooky sounds with my effect pedals; they sound pristine and full through Genzler. Looking forward!
So when are your adoption papers going through on a new Genzler? They make great long term companions and come already house broken and have all their shots, just need to feed and play with them. Though they do not like to be apart from their family for long, and may get car sick, so it is a good idea to keep them swaddled in the matching carrying case when traveling between play dates.I finally encountered the Magellan 800 in the wild today. I plugged in a Fender American Pro Jazz and started twisting knobs. At first I ran it through 2 Genzler bass arrays, it was full, transparent and beautiful. To judge how much was the amp versus cabs, I then plugged the amp into a Fender Rumble 410, next a SWR 410. Both the amp and cabs are stellar. There are a number of wonderful tones available. Now I fully understand the love.
