@Jeff Genzler

Has anyone ever tried the Genzler 800 through one Array 12-3 and a 210-3 together? I just purchased my first 210 and wondering if they will mix good. Will probably wind up getting another 210 to lol. Love this Genzler gear.

Yes, I've done this. I may have written about it somewhere, too. Glorious combo! I had the 210 on the bottom. It was nice to have the more aggressive mids of the 12 combined with the more compressed sounding and punchier 210. Great mix. It was an outdoor show, too.

I'll be interested in reading your take on the similarities and differences between the two cabs...

@Spfairchild

That excites me knowing they pair good. How much if any difference did the 210 stand alone compare to the 12-3 cabinet? What is your impressions comparing them single?

Not to beat a horse in failing health, but I've made product videos for Genzler for both of those that go in depth on my thoughts on their comparison, as well as obviously playing through both in isolation. The BA210-3 video is probably better from a comparative standpoint as I did that one after the BA12-3, and reference them both.

There are several users running this combination. I've played this several times and it is very impressive. Really does blend well together. I personally would turn to using like-type cabinets together but these 2 cabinets do play well together. As Sean has mentioned there is a nice mid presence happening when the BA12-3 is on top of the BA210-3. And the BA210-3 just has a great fatness when setting on the bottom of this stack.

What is everyone's thoughts on the 210 vs the 12 line array? Perhaps Mr Genzler would comment. I would be specifically interested on hearing thoughts with a EAB as well as a standard electric with a MG800 head???

The BA12-3 offers more depth (lower freq response) and a smooth balanced mid and smooth top end. Some have said this model is a little more "mid throaty" in response but I think it is just a fairly flat response. Does not have the usual mid dip you might expect in a 12" cabinet. This has to do with the response of the 12" as it crosses over into the Array.
As for the BA210-3, the dual 10" drivers do deliver more quickness and punch (as you would expect). These 10" do have a little less energy as they crossover into the Array as due to that, the BA210-3 is slightly more "scooped" than the 12" version. Because of that, I feel this model sounds a little brighter overall.
My personal preference for EUB would be the BA12-3 but really that is just subjective. This kind of comes down to if you like 12"'s or 10"s.
Hopefully --- in some way this is helpful.
