I *think* that's Byron Miller playing the bass - though it sure sounds like Stanley doing the bass solo.
Also - do I hear Bootsy on that track, and if so, is it only on vocals?
Who exactly is on "Reach For It", anyway?

JK

Saw Byron Miller last year with Jean Luc Ponty - groovin' hard.
Does Bootsy do a cameo appearance on vocals, or is George (or someone else) a Bootsy sound-alike?

Yeah, it's Byron. One of the best bass solos ever recorded, IMHO. And one of the best sounding P-basses (That's what he played when I saw George Duke in concert back in the day.), too! There are some other great tracks on that CD.

A Groove is a Terrible Thing to Waste!
