Ha ha. I went on a journey for a new bass and after traveling in a very large circle was led back to my two old standbys!

IME we usually end up liking the shade of green of the grass in our own backyards just fine, but only after dragging ourselves through way more lawn and garden centers and turf displays than would have seeemed necessary in retrospect.

I usually have practical reasons for buying what I buy, but those reasons sometimes don't remain in place.

I would say the same thing is true for myself..but to be completely honest, I would also have to admit that in my case I'm often very creative about recharcterizing a strong want as a genuine, practical need.

Isn't it funny how we often seem to like what we have, but are certian there is something better out there? Is it just something about people in general, or are the product marketing departments really that good, or a little of both?

I see horses and cows straining to get their heads through the fence. The grass always tastes better on the other side. That’s human nature as well.

Uh-huh. I had a set of my casings retreaded by the local Bandag facility. They held up very well, considering S FL heat.

What's a snow tire?

What I need to get out of my driveway in winter. Just put this set on one of our trucks today.

Back in GonePlaid's days as a trucker I would say snow tires were the Goodyear F32's State Troopers put on their interceptors during winter in states that got lots of snow.

Every year, I hope that the snow doesn’t linger till after Christmas. This morning it was raining and snowing. I had enough of it last winter. The sidewalks were just wet. The park where it’s colder, had a blanket of white flakes on the grass.

As usual, the dogs don’t mind at all. Find a puddle and they have to stand in it.

I hear that it’s sunny and warm in Florida.
