So much of what she's done, for me, made the song. "Sloop John B", fer instance.
Mine is a Hamilton. There was a time when they presented people with a fancy watch when they retired. Seems that having the watch to get to work on time would have been helpful.
I was once given a fountain pen as a parting memento. I hardly ever sign my name anymore. I haven’t worn a watch in decades. Technology has changed life, not always for the better.

My old RR watch was an Elgin.
My great grand-father used to be the station master at the Rocheport, MO depot. I never met him and didn't inherit his watch. I feel so left out.

Everyone looks better than Mick, which seems to me the entire point. To my memory ... when The Rolling Stones and The Beatles held the main spotlights ~64-66, the Stones were the mean and ugly ones. Boys wanted to perfect the Mick "sneer".
In college, back in the early 80's, I had the Rolling Stones Hot Rocks 1964-1971 album on vinyl. The first song on side 1 (of 4) was "Time Is On My Side". The record had a scratch on this song and would always skip a few grooves. I listened to the album a lot.
Fast forward years later, I bought this album on CD. It did not skip. It sounded different....like I am listening to an extended version or something of that song. I guess technically it was extended...by 4 grooves...or ~7.2 seconds...
I do miss the vinyl pops, hisses, and skips.
Ask and you shall receive. There’s a Waves plugin that can add hiss, pops, crackle, and more to a clean digital track. Skips can be accomplished by removing some of the track and adding a loud click.

When I move all I hear is pops and crackles from my joints. Nature helps by limiting your high frequency hearing as you age. Women hold onto their ability to hear higher frequencies longer.
It's amazing just how well they can still hear while we can't hear a thing!
