Been periods in this life where my diet was strictly macrobiotic. These would be the same periods in this life where yoga is a daily practice. That diet shifts when road food is my only option. Per diem means my work week routine includes meticulous record keeping of every food purchase, and reporting same. The kind of food that goes with it is hard on my body, I find.

This one was pretty healthy for body and soul

Getting harder to flush down a meal. Some companies prohibit including any alcohol including wine on an expense account. Grape juice is ok.

Never saw that bit before but also didn't watch Seinfeld. Is that Chuck Rainey?

Nice. I was lucky in my old day gig that when I was out on the road we could often just use our own credit card for food and get reimbursed full government rate per diem, no questions asked. If you did eat-in breakfast and a bag lunch you could enjoy some pretty fine dinners from time to time. Or taco and tequila night, hold the tacos. Or so I've been told by a bug on the wall.

Business meetings were a different story though, and a pretty big PITA to do the accounting for. There was an interesting etiquette going on there, mandatory conflict of interest training, yada yada.

Vintage Guitar has made their magazine archive available for free till May 31, 2020. Not just guitar, they have some bass content as well. Good stuff. Response was slow this morning but it does come up.

I have a backlog stack of VG that I need to start reading through.
