I guess all the combustion only happens on one side of the motor and the other side is a lot cooler where the air gets drawn in as the middle spins around.

This is purported to happen with rotary brains, too. Simple function, big exhaust ports.

I googled Rotary brains to see if there was something about your post that i was missing (obviously:laugh:) and found this, VERY interesting article and about how even ardent intellectual appeal almost never changes anyone's mind:

How your brain is keeping you from changing your mind

Except when I'm at work, I can get someone to completely change their mind in 60 minutes. It takes a while for the seals to seat fully, though.

Rotary brains and Rotary engines are very interesting! Thank you for this.

Rotary engines, rotary brains...what is next?....rotary PHONES?????

Wankel must have done well in life as an inventior. I worked with someone from Germany whose work was sponsered by the Felix Wankel Foundation. Interesting to note, Wankel never had a driver's license.
Nor, could Leo play geetar.

Do you use intellectual appeal or emotional appeal?

Giving away trade secrets? I signed an NDA with um I forget now

Actually here in my post corporate world I continue my work as a consultant. Funny that and all where my actual title was Consultant, so I never stopped doing whatever it is I do. And off there over in corporate, always knew exactly what to do even when I had absolutely no clue what to do. So nothing's changed there.
