Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

I almost always hated flying with "promis" (celebrities). Their sense of entitlement can sometimes be overwhelming. But I've got to give a shoutout to Jeremy Roenick (great hockey player and now a TV analyst). He was once seated in the row in front of me. The airline blocked the other seat. Jeremy sat in the aisle seat during boarding and was friendly with everyone who greeted him. Once the door closed, he moved to the window seat, and slept the whole way. When we deplaned, I decided to follow him. He completely ignored adults, but every single child who recognized him got some time and personal attention. Blew me away. And I loved the guy before that!
Roenick's great and, IMO, got royally hosed by the network(s).

I always use a soft but well padded gig bag when talking the instrument on board. If the instrument doesn’t matter, I like my short scale Cort headless bass, it would be hard to damage it.

Man, it looks like the headstock of your bass got broken off....

I think you have a claim against the airline..... ;)

I see more people without masks giving mask wearers the stinkeye.

There was a big protest last weekend by people who are against wearing masks. They were VERY vocal and in close proximity to one another to make their point. Then the same day there was a protest outside the Lebanese embassy with people wanting sanctions against the government there.

Me thinks, ‘tis the season of the stink-eye.

If only people had the same disdain for those who demonstrate a lack of common sense, we would have more people wearing masks and less people looking at them in a derogatory manner.

Speaking as a former teacher of both history and US government: there is no article of the US Constitution that even implies a right to be ignorant and be treated as if your opinions are equal.
