Nope. That one's made from pyrite (fool's gold).
It was 51 years ago today in 1969. Somehow it looks smaller than depicted. There was no covid, no AIDS, just concerns of catching the clap or some bad acid.
I spent that summer playing in a band that did Beatles songs. I don’t remember bands called tribute bands back then, we just did the songs. Abbey Road didn’t come out until late September. When it did, there was a scramble to learn the album. I wasn’t easy to pull off well.

I've often wondered about that "Tribute" term. What's the tribute? A plaque, billboard, statue? Royalties?
Cover band 'covers' it. I have some ideas for a better term, but I think I'll keep 'em to myself in the interest of self-preservation.

One of the kindest, most sincere and real people I ever met was in an Elvis movie. I don't recall she ever said one word about him to me beyond that.
I wanna start a tribute band of a tribute band.
Wow! Whatever tribute band you're 'tributing', it's gonna be a helluva name.[example: Tribute band- "Who's Next"; tribute band tribute band- "Who's Later On".]

It's kind of hard to play music ironically. It's been done, but, still ... it was a Stratocaster with a whammy bar

I personally know a (now) little old lady (then, not so much) who had a flat tire out on a lonely stretch of road one day in the early '60s. And who should happen along, but Elvis himself, drivng a big ol' Cadillac. He hopped out and politely asked if he could be of assistance and all she could do was nod, since she was speechless. She thought he would give her a ride to a Service Station (when that's what they still were). Instead, he got the keys out of the ignition, opened the trunk and changed the flat for the good spare! She could barely utter a "thank you". He said, "There's a Texaco just up ahead that'll be glad to fix that flat for you. Tell 'em I sent you." Then he drove off. She went to the Texaco and bashfully told 'em what happened and they fixed her flat for free, checked all the car's fluids, and cleaned the windshield while pumping her $5 worth of gas! They said, "Yep, he's an occassional customer here. He just honked and waved when he came by a while ago."

Review works because it’s highlighting artists under the same theme. It bugs me when a band doesn’t play the entire song. They do twenty seconds and move on to another. It’s as if they want to show that they can play it but can’t be bothered.
OK. That's even lamer. I s'pose if ya wanna do a medley of some of their more obscure(or difficult)songs that'd be alright. Otherwise, play at least the 2.5 minute AM radio version.
There's lots of "Fake Fab Faux" out there. Can anyone tell the real one?
