Easy and tasty.
Fresh and dried cranberries (texture)
Dried apricots, dried cherries.
Combine raw white sugar (molasses not washed off, but not brown sugar) bring to a boil. Add a drop of vanilla, sprinkle of cinnamon.
Lower heat.
Add the dried fruits , stirring constantly.
Add fresh cranberry, and let stew until cranberries "pop" stirring occasionally.
Turn off heat. Stir in brandy ( just a shot or 2)
Put in a container in the fridge overnight .
Serve in small cup, topped with chopped pralines , powdered sugar, and lemon zest.
OMG.

Wow! Thanks for sharing your recipe. It does sound delicous!

Years like this, thankfulness is a hard thing to summon.

Just look All around you, what you have and see.
The smile of a niece, nephew, child , grandchildren.
The simple beauty of turning leaves .
(A lovely slab of wood)

Thankful that I'm here to experience it.
Thankful I have a loving partner .
Thankful that my family remains un-impacted
Thankful to know I'm not alone with my struggles, and although I can do little to change it, thousands of people worldwide are striving to stop the menace.

I send warm thoughts to all that read this.

I like my traditional table.

Nice! Similar to a cranberry chutney I've made. Leave out the sweets, add some cayenne maybe slivered almonds. Savory.

Paul McCartney Admits He Uses A Teleprompter To Remember Old Beatles Songs

“Sometimes I’ll be doing a song, like ‘Eleanor Rigby’ or something, and I’m on autopilot," the 78-year-old explained. “And I’m starting to think, ‘Oh, what am I gonna have for dinner? Maybe you won’t have the soup but maybe you’ll just go for the main course.’ Then I go, ‘Stop!’ because I’m singing ‘Eleanor Rigby!’ I’ve separated myself not only from Paul and fame, but a couple of bits in my head are going in different places.”

“Sometimes that breaks down and I forget the song," McCartney confessed. "I have a teleprompter.”

If all I need is a teleprompter to help me out when I'm 78, I'll consider life to be going better than I could have hoped for.

He always did that with Hey Jude behind the piano, even when young. He described it as a mental thing. But a lot of folks use lyric prompts, some for the music.

This is useful.

I can see spacing out after playing the same songs for over 50 years. It was funny the way he explained it though, I could see myself doing the same thing.
