Tongue in cheek. On a car forum, some owners specifically say they won't drive their Corvette in the rain. That remark usually attracts varied responses, lol. I guess they are afraid it will hurt resale value or damage something. I suspect these guys haven't been more than 200 miles from home and that's only when they can get 3-4 days of good weather. I wonder what they do if they get a bug splat on the windshield? lol.
Whatever works for you but I don't get it. This car was made to drive! We don't go looking for rain but if it rains, so what. Here's a pic right after we went through a hail storm in NM. No damage but the sound of hail on a convertible roof is "interesting".
