Bought some finger cots to deal with a split thumb. Helps keep ointment on your finger.

Note to self, don't ask for finger condoms in the pharmacy. They bring you to the condom section. Me repeatedly saying, no I need one smaller than that. Finally find what I need, then I ask where the vaseline is.

My understanding of the proper repair procedure for a 12 cylinder (vintage) Jaguar is to fan a stack of hundreds for your mechanic. And pray.

True, I expect. However..at the Ferrarri shop, they dont count the Benjamins...they weigh them.

I happened to tune in to a Ferrari forum earlier and found that a clutch replacement was quoted at about $7500.
I believe the the motor had to be removed from the car...not sure.

That would depend on the model. Front engine vs mid engine and transaxle.

At the Ferrari "maintenance salon" (shop..........how droll ), they prefer gold bullion as payment. Value for value, weighs about the same as stacks of bills, but takes up less room in the safe.

A local Ferrari and Maserati dealer sells only genuine certified parts so of course they are expensive. They also sell used vehicles, I assume trade ins. You wouldn't want one with too many miles on it. Cars are in the showroom but people like to custom order them to meet their requirements.

I also made a new cover for my tablet out of the same hide...thick enough to not need padding.

Very soft stuff, like deer but heavier. You never see cowhide this pliable, especially in 8 oz thickness. I bought a side, half of the whole critter...about 22 sq ft. Almost no place sells 4 inch pre-cuts. Got it from a place that processes hides for one of the tribes in Montana.

Colm Clarke worked in the industry from the age of 12, helping his family to earn a living. He is one of the few people still alive who remembers the whole process of sowing, harvesting and processing flax to linen by hand.
