Excuse me for asking but that snow looks pretty yellow. I know that there are a lot of huskies in Sitka.
Does yellow snow on the spruce branches serve to attract the herring?
Oh no, not that kind of yellow snow....

OK, I'll bite. And since it's Sunday, let's go with DETYS followed by St. Alphonzo's Pancake Breakfast.Oh no, not that kind of yellow snow....

In Davie, FL,(far west Ft. Lauderdale)most of the businesses had hitching posts/rails for a long time. Haven't been down there in forever, but it's most likely all developed now.In high school, I was a gas jockey at a service station. People used to ride up and ask us if they could park their horses there while they went into the K-Mart. Not a Harley type horse but the real thing. With all the development since then, there are no farms left in that area. You’d never know that they were once there. I never would have believed that an area would change so much in less than a lifetime.
Hi GOF's. Well Sitka is at Low Alert. No new cases for a couple weeks. Alaska's vaccine numbers are going up and cases dropping. We are now able to be in buildings without masks except still 6 foot distancing. It's a gorgeous day today. Carey and I are going for a drive today. The whales and seals are beginning their Spring return. Next month is Herring Fishing. We Natives love the herring eggs on branches. Natives drop spruce branches in the water for a week and they become covered with herring eggs. Then we boil them for a minute and eat them with rice and either butter or soy sauce on the eggs.

He's one of the eggmen, I reckon (as are you).![]()
When I saw Zappa in '73 they performed that whole album.OK, I'll bite. And since it's Sunday, let's go with DETYS followed by St. Alphonzo's Pancake Breakfast.

I remember that I saw that movie in a very altered state of mind.Even at 15 years, I am not too young to imagine 200 Motels is fiction.
The wife and I flew down to Florida Friday for a nice week of R&R. The sunny and mid-to-high 70s weather is perfect but deceiving. I know what the summer is like down here.
It is so wonderful to catch live music. It has been so long. I love Florida. I originally was going to make a comment about our (socialist dictator) governor in Michigan, but I won't. I will just say it is nice to feel normal again.
Sitting outside in beautiful weather Madeira Beach, sipping on a drink of your choice, and listening to some good live music. A great vacation.
The only negative is that I am having withdrawals from not being able to play my bass(es), but it will give me something to look forward to when I have to leave and go back home.
Sounds nice.
Is the area populated with the spring break throngs yet?
Did you mean "spring break thongs"?
