Wal-Mart is notorious for this!

Discount tire here told me the same thing...

Because it is absolutely not safe. An old friend of mine repaired his own tire when told this, the nail was outside of the tread belts. The tire blew shortly on the freeway, his insurance went after who repaired the tire. They found out he did and refused his claim, cancelled his policy and he lost his house, his savings and holdings to civil lawsuits from the other drivers. No joke. If you don't believe and talk someone into doing it for you, I just hope no one loses thier mobility or life. Now I'm grumpy.

The new Win 10 took much longer than any other update before. Everything seems okay so far except a couple programs were locked out due to "incompatibility issues". Nothing I will miss while waiting for thier updates.

+1 on not making unsafe tire repairs.

Hope you don't have trouble with printing in Windows 10.

I support a veterinary software package called AlisVet. Never a problem with multiple printer support under Win7, but it can be a nightmare in Win10.

We started recommending that our clients grab the free 30-day rollback on unintended Win10 upgrades, then install Never10 on all their workstations to prevent it happening again.

i understand the seriousness of that.. but when you know that it is within a safe distance and could be plugged and they still want you to buy a tire instead of plugging it claiming that it is too close.. hmmmm..
On another note.. if your tires are 6 years old or older and still good tread.. you need to replace them anyway..

I think my strange rover tires are pre Y2K. It never sees 40 MPH. If I find the time and eneregy it will get a pair of 60's TLC axles to replace LR/RR axles which are oddly a dana 60 knock off but made of peanut butter. 15" rims would mean new tires. But the rims I have now for the mighty TLC axles are also 15" wide meaning new and very fat tires. Fat tires plus the locker up front means it may never see pavement, much less 40 MPH.
