The demand for illustrated medical texts by an illiterate — but paying — Medieval population means that How Things Work books (printed with no care to much more than general accuracy) outsold everything else for a long time. May still. Unclear.

My wife says that once in a while, when I first heard her say it I thought it was hilarious, all I could think of was Ricky Ricardo, the only place I ever heard it before her was on I love Lucy, it still cracks me up after 19 years when she says it, and that's it exactly ¡Ay Caramba! Or just ¡CARAMBA!

I gave up drinking. I used to like 25 and 18 year old booze. The ageing made it very smooth, no headache no matter how much you drank. I have a few bottles of 25 stuffed into the back of an amp somewhere. Sometimes I find it and look at it for a while, then put it back. Back in the day, I bought it for less than a tenth of what it sells for now. Still, I could have bought some nice gear instead.
