Shoot, I'm not as fussy. It can be under the yardarm as far as I'm concerned. Going up or down, makes no difference to me. :D

¡Ay, caramba!

Which brings to mind...

I'm having trouble keeping up with you guys on the posts. I step away for 10-12 hrs and stuff just goes to heck.

Went to Lowes yesterday morning to get stuff to redo the landscape lighting. The place was a nuthouse. I kept thinking why are all these people here instead of at work? Oh, Good Friday. Anyways, reinstalled the landscape lighting with new wiring and a new transformer. Found one with a photo eye so don't have to worry about a timer.

Rode the scooter for a couple of hours this morning after the coffee shop. Pretty nice, cloudy, mid-50s. Probably clean up the Corvette this afternoon and put out a couple of bags of mulch.

I was in Lowe's this week and this is exactly why, and what happened —

Wanna go to Lowe's with me? my friend asks ... sure. Her DBF (that's Darling BoyFriend) needs two plumbing fittings. I hate this place, she says, as we go in. We pass batteries, and shelves of washing detergent and so on and on until we get to the right place. She takes a picture of the thing she thinks he needs, and texts the photo to him.

We pass the aisle with all the lighting fixtures, she gets in line and I go out. As she waits, DBF texts back. She waves me back. Round I go, up the aisles we go to the plumbing fixtures. We get the right thing now that she has the course correction.

Magazine rack is full of purchase bait. Make my way out, and we are off, none the richer for the experience. We fix that on our own

Of all the upkeep done at Fort Winslow, plumbing projects are the ones I despise most. I'll happily leap headlong into electrical work, carpentry, even something as mundane as caulking, but deliver me from plumbing duties. :sour:
I used to like it all at one point and actually was awarded a builder's license. And after a handful of projects found out that I really did not want to pursue that for a living.
The thing that is crappy about plumbing work is the under-the-sink (or anything) stuff. Always banging my head on something!
